JURASSIC FIELDS WOULD N’T BE THE SAME WITHOUT THEM!
THE LEGGOMEN have grown along side Jurassic fields supporting the festival from the start and performing for the 4th year in a row these guys are not to be missed
Billy, Ollie, Will and Josh have played many of a sell out gig in the south west. With their Gritty Orlando Blues feel, mixed with Rock, Country and Indie it’s a no wonder they have performed in front of Michael Eavis (he was a large fan of the beards!), supported the likes of the Fun Lovin’ Criminals and performed a headlining set at the O2 Academy in Islington
Having headlined plenty of festivals all over the south of England, a month touring the Alps and most recently being sponsored by Old J Spiced Rum The Leggomen just keep growing from strength to strength, once being described as “Beards, Harmonies and LOUD NOISES”.
The Leggomen will be playing a fundraising gig for Jurassic fields along side festival favourites Shelby’s Elbows on Easter Saturday 15th April. For more information follow this link. https://www.facebook.com/events/376251159405457/?ti=cl
BLACK BALLED are… Tom Wibberley (Bass). Marshall Gill (Vocals/guitar). Leon Gill (Drums).
Blackballed are a full tilt powerhouse with a ton of passion and style.
Fusing all the best ingredients from blues and rock to psychedelic soulfulness,
they conjure up an energy that once discovered wont be forgotten.
DUTCH CRIMINAL RECORD are a four piece Indie/Surf band from Chichester, UK. They write and perform their own brand of original upbeat indie tunes featuring melodic vocals, interlinking riffs and blooming harmonies based around a background of solid bass and energetic drums.
Having played festivals such as Victorious (Portsmouth) and The Great Dorset Steam Fair as well as headline shows at the Troubadour (London), Wedgewood Rooms (Portsmouth) and the Talking Heads (Southampton), Dutch Criminal Record have plenty of live experience.
JOE AND THE JUICE were formed in 2016 as part of ‘In The Band’, a new music experience for young people originating here in West Dorset. The band are nearly all in their teens, but their sound reflects their hefty collective experience of playing live music. Be prepared to be (literally) moved by this impressive 7 piece.
SAM WALKER falls through dreamscapes, imagined lands and different realities.Stumbling into rolling, dance floor rocking grooves and heart breaking soaring melodies along the way. His songs are full of new stories, tender twists and anthemic melody. His live shows are gaining a reputation for boundless energy and much multi-instrumentalism.
SCOOT- Having played together in various combinations in some of the South West’s most popular covers bands for nearly twenty years, the members of Scoot came together in 2015 and found a formula that “just worked” from day one.
